Stand8 SMS Terms and Conditions

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to SMS communications from Stand8, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not opt in.
1. Program Description
The Stand8 SMS program (the "Program") allows Stand8 to send text messages to candidates, contractors, and other individuals who have opted in. Message content includes:
- Job opportunity outreach matched to your skills and experience
- Timesheet submission reminders for active contractors
- Interview scheduling and confirmation
- Resume refresh and talent pool updates
- Reference check coordination
- Placement, onboarding, and account notifications
Messages may be sent by Stand8 recruiting staff, by our AI assistant Angela through the PRISM platform, or by automated systems acting on Stand8's behalf.
2. How to Opt In
You can opt in to the Program by:
- Submitting an application or resume at stand8.io/careers and checking the SMS consent box
- Providing your mobile number to a Stand8 recruiter and confirming consent in writing or by recorded conversation
- Accepting a Stand8 placement offer that includes an SMS consent disclosure
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of applying for a position, accepting a placement, or receiving any service from Stand8.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your relationship with Stand8 and the activities associated with your account. Active contractors typically receive 1 to 4 messages per week related to timesheets and placements. Candidates not currently on assignment may receive messages on an as-needed basis when matching opportunities arise, typically less than 4 messages per month.
4. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Stand8 is not responsible for charges imposed by your carrier. Contact your carrier directly for details on your plan.
5. How to Opt Out
You can opt out of the Program at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. After you opt out, you will receive a single confirmation message and will receive no further SMS communications from the Program, except as required to confirm the opt-out itself or as required by law.
To resubscribe after opting out, reply START to the most recent message or contact your Stand8 recruiter.
6. How to Get Help

7. Supported Carriers
The Program is supported on major U.S. mobile carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, U.S. Cellular, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to your carrier's network coverage and conditions.
8. Privacy
Your mobile phone number and SMS consent data are governed by our Privacy Policy. Stand8 does not share, sell, rent, or lease mobile phone numbers or SMS consent records with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
9. Eligibility
The Program is available to U.S. residents who are 18 years of age or older. By opting in, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the phone number you provided belongs to you or that you have authority to authorize messages to that number.
10. Changes to These Terms
Stand8 may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The Effective Date above reflects the most recent update. Material changes will be communicated through the Program or by other reasonable means. Continued participation in the Program after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
